Multiple teams were contributing to the Surface site with little alignment. The result: an inconsistent, overly complex user experience. Internally, teams lacked clarity on ownership, priorities and what the site was actually meant to do. We were brought in to reset.

Through interviews, workshops, and deep organisational research, we helped Microsoft define a strategic vision for their Surface web experience. We introduced new ways of working, clarified roles and responsibilities, and built a roadmap for more cohesive, consumer-focused design.
We delivered a clear, shared experience vision and a framework for better collaboration across teams. The new strategy shifted Surface from a launch-and-leave mindset to an always-on, user-first experience—helping Microsoft bring consistency, clarity and momentum to the platform.
